MANUFACTURING PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER

We are a fast-paced manufacturing company that is seeking a qualified, highly-motivated PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER to join our dynamic team.

 

EMINESS Technologies, Inc. is a high-tech manufacturer of consumable polishing products that are used in the optics, semiconductor, wafer and storage media substrate industries. This Process / Project Engineer position will be based in our manufacturing facility in Monroe, NC.

 

Required skills: BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering Project Management and leadership of capital, product/process development, and process improvement projects Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma tools and techniques Strong analytical problem-solving skills Design, installation, and troubleshooting experience of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic manufacturing processes and systems Ability to work in a team based culture, interacting and effectively communicating with all functions and levels of the organization. Strong background in the development and deployment of SPC. Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  MS Project, MS Access, and/or CAD experience a plus Three to five years of project management and continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.  

 

 Job duties include:Design, install, verify, validate, and improve new or existing manufacturing processes. Lead or assist in troubleshooting activities. Develop, train, and deploy process operating instructions and best practices. Develop SPC programs and practices. Lead and identify sustainable process improvement projects focused at improving safety, product quality, process efficiencies, and reduction of waste. Assist in other functional areas as needed.
