You can learn more about INVISTA by visiting www.INVISTACareers.com JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for safety and health of contracted workers while working at the Wilmington, NC site. Responsible for the receipt, inspection, acceptance and payment for on-site goods and services provided by approved contractors. Works with Planning and Scheduling Leader, Maintenance Work Process Leader, Material Coordinators, and Small Projects Gatekeeper to develop clear, concise performance based statements of work (SOW) focused on obtaining goods and services of requisite quality, on time, and within budget. Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with on-site Business Support functions such as Finance, Accounting and Procurement to identify cost opportunities and ensure budgets are accurately tracked. Familiar with the Terms and Conditions of the contract and responsible for the development of a contract administration plan to include a communication plan, responsibility matrix, work breakdown structure, and a schedule of key tasks. Administer document contract changes, monitor progress, identify and resolve issues with the contractor, and accept/reject services performed. Provide good economic thinking and decision making regarding how to properly resource work (INVISTA resources, resident contractors, or non-resident contractors). Promote and use safe work practices to provide a safe work environment. This will include a high level of collaboration with site safety and health leadership. Ensure Process Safety Management requirements are met by both INVISTA employees and contract workforce. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Experience of Contract Administration. Strong economic skills of cost and benefit. Meeting management and facilitation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with vendors and contract labor suppliers to in commercial or industrial arena.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED 5-10 years experience of Contract Administration/ Procurement. Experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility. Sound knowledge of commercial/legal contract language structure. SAP skills.
