The Maintenance Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing engineering expertise, leading and providing oversight for the maintenance team as assigned. The function is to assure proper design, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems according to regulatory and BASF standards.  The Engineer will assure efficient and effective utilization of maintenance manpower, tools, and equipment.  Additional aareas of responsibility include supplying technical expertise to operations, providing leadership to the maintenance resources, administering the maintenance processes program and budget, and assisting in or executing small projects.

 

The Quincy, Florida site is a Minerals facility that will process clay into various forms for coatings and paint applications. 

 

The selected candidate will have either a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience equaling at least 10 years.

Related experience will be within a manufacturing plant environment, ideally within the chemical industry.

Must have technical knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, wear and abrasion issues.

Mechanical aptitude is necessary.

Solid skills with MS Office applications.

Excellent communication skills.
