Manager, Market Analytics (Cement, Aggregates, Concrete / Marketing)

Holcim (US) has a new, unique opportunity for you, as a self-motivated leader in a Manager, Market Analytics role at our corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA.

 

Your technical knowledge of cement, concrete, and/or aggregates/admixtures with your expertise in market segmentation, customer segmentation and competitive activities will lead you to be in the customer service mindset, recommend and support solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer between sales and marketing cross-functional teams.  The Manager, Market Analytics will lead the insight from and the improvement to analytical data for cement, concrete and aggregate usage, market segmentation, customer segmentation and competitive activities for Holcim (US) and St. Lawrence Cement.  This position acts as a decision support resource for the areas of sales, marketing, and strategy both at a macro and micro level.  All improvements and systems must address the needs of both companies and all segments, preferably through a single and standard solution

 

In this role you will be responsible for: 

·Lead the annual North American Market Study with an eye on continuous improvement to reports and related insight

·Lead large scale commercial initiatives driven from parent company such as product portfolio analysis or pricing analysis

· Investigate, implement and provide ongoing oversight of a Customer Relationship Management system and propose process and system improvements. 

· Assist the Regions, Product Development and Strategic Marketing with any go-to-market analysis

· Publish weekly, monthly and quarterly relevant data such as competitor profitability, acquisitions and other market related news

 

The focus on customer service from both a business and technical perspective enable you to develop relationships and work closely with key personnel across the North America enterprise.  Utilize strong interpersonal, communication, decision making and effective networking skills to execute on responsibilities and commitments.  Preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business (MBA preferred) and five (5) years related experience.  Travel up to 35%.
