Master Planner

 

This professional will supervise the Master Production Scheduling activities for 8 manufacturing facilities within the United States and Canada.  Based in San Diego, California, this position’s responsibility is to develop and direct monthly production plans for each plant, based on individual product levels.

 

Additional duties include:  Establish and publish lead times, Coordinate and communicate accurate production schedules to ensure efficient operations, cycle time and adequate delivery, Interact with Operations, Sales and other Departments in order to create and update a production plan based on sales forecasts, inventory projection, and production capacity, Effectively schedule and deliver special orders and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualification Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering or related field

· 7-10 years of related experience

· Minimum 2 yrs direct experience in a process industry – (Ex - Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical)

· Statistical Analysis and advanced Excel Knowledge

· Oracle - Planning & Scheduling Application Experience

· Bilingual Spanish Strongly Preferred

· Advanced Analysis / Decision Making / Problem Solving Ability

· Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management as well as subordinates, both in written form and orally

· Team management experience

· Some Travel Required - 3-10 days / month
