By investing in their product capacity while producing to meet market demand, they create the opportunity for significant growth while limiting downside risk.General Description of Position Responsibilities for the Mechanical Integrity EngineerResponsible for the execution of planned maintenance and oversight of maintenance contractors associated with the ammonia, urea, and nitric acid plants.Specific Duties:·  Company job representative responsible for providing coordination and oversight of nested maintenance contractor(s)  ·  Company job representative for 3rd party specialty contractors·  Responsible for field execution of planned maintenance activities·  Responsible for maintaining certification of bridge cranes in accordance with OSHA standards·  Turnaround (TAR) outage field superintendent  ·  Responsible for providing technical support and training to technicians ·  Responsible for coordinating emergency work requests with operations Required Qualifications·  Associated Degree from accredited technical school in construction management technology (or related field) and 4-6 years experience is preferred or 10 plus years experience in supervising plant maintenance at a chemical plant, ammonia plant, refinery, or utility plant. ·  Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience·  Field Construction Management experience in execution of planned turnarounds in excess of $5.0 mn·  Experience and certification in managing crane safety ·  Through understanding of furnaces, boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers including applicable ASME and ANSI codes·  Knowledge of welding procedures and processes·  Knowledge of CMMS planning systems and project scheduling software  ·  Creative, flexible, organized and technically connected. ·  Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and planning skills, facilitation skills, computer skills and the ability to achieve results through others. ·  Flexible, analytical and detailed oriented.·  Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.·  Willingness to work extended hours, particularly during scheduled outages ·  Willingness to participate on corporate teams and assist other locations (some travel required)·  Willingness to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and willingness to participate in weekend and holiday coverage Please email resumes to marilynt@spherion-schulte.com   Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
