Rust-Oleum along with The Home Depot is currently running a pilot program to continue our success in the vast array of Home Depot stores. To drive this program Rust-Oleum is currently seeking a Full Time Sales Merchandising Representative to manage a territory of individual Home Depot Stores while delivering and exceeding an assigned sales plan. This individual will be responsible for an area of Ventura County, CA and the surrounding communities.

 

 

Responsibilities:Manage individual Home Depot Store inventories by possessing the expertise to analyze Home Depot reports and/or the mobile ordering cart system. Establish relationships with store representatives who facilitate the ordering processBuild relationships with Home Depot Market District Managers, Paint Captains, Store Managers and associates through regular sales calls and serviceCommunicate sales issues and opportunities via weekly reports to Zone Managers and National Account ExecutiveFill shelves completely with back stockBuild Secondary displays and sell ideas to store management and order product if necessaryMaintain integrity of Plan-O-Grams including merchandising aspects(signs, brochures, bin tags, etc.) and do re-setsEducate store personnel and Home Depot Customers on technical product knowledge and application of our brands through regular product presentationsMaintain territory through daily call reports and expense management

 

 

Requirements:High school diplomaPrior sales or warehouse retailer experience Must be able to operate different computers to pull reports and sales historyGeneral knowledge of on hand inventories, average sales per week, on hand inventory, promotional buys, and seasonal trendsExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with great deal of customer focusStrong selling and analytical skillsSelf starter with ability to work independently and stay on scheduleMust be able to drive to multiple locationsMust be able to climb various ladders and occasionally lift 50lbs
