Brenntag is the worldwide leader in chemical distribution with over 130 years in business. Brenntag Pacific, Inc. has grown substantially over the last year and we are looking an individual who loves challenge and is interested in joining our team as a Production person. This position is located at our Portland Oregon branch.

 

As a Production person for Brenntag, this individual will be responsible for receiving, storing and preparing products for shipment. This busy position requires that the proper paperwork documentation is completed accurately and that products are moved and stored in a timely manner and in good condition. Safe work practices are an absolute necessity. This person may be required to load/unload with a hand-truck or pallet jack and lift up to 100 lbs. For safety reasons, the warehouseperson must be able to speak, read and write in English. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday with the possibility of overtime. Occasional weekend work may be required.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 Current warehouse/forklift experienceForklift certification requiredExperience working with chemicals is helpfulMust meet PFT requirements to wear a respiratorAbility to push, pull or lift up to 100 lbsAbility to perform simple mathAbility to read, speak and write EnglishClean appearanceGood customer service and communication skills.
