PROJECT MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION

Project Manager-Heavy Industrial, Refining, Power, Petrochemicals, Up Stream, Mid Stream

Manages medium to large Construction projects, having a TIC value of up to $300 million. Assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, complying with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success. Delivers superior results for financial, HSE, quality, client satisfaction, budget and schedule performance. Serves as prime point of contact between the client and the company. Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of company and client as approved by the company. Manages and coordinates activities of all project personnel by direct supervision, through subordinates and/or sub-contractors. Will work closely with Business Development to evaluate and interpret specific project requirements during the proposal phase. Will work with the client to achieve repeat business opportunities. Defines precise scope of work and identify changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement. Negotiates scope, schedule, and pricing changes with the client. Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan. Keeps the client and company advised of project status on regular basis. Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project. Abides by company’s business ethics. Manages teams of direct reports. Reports to the Manager of Projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 BS Degree in Engineering preferred, with 15 years of relevant refining, power and/or petrochemicals experience, or 20+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 10 years as a construction manager with experience in the Refining and Petrochemical industry.
