Plant Worker Opportunities - Entry Level

SGS Petroleum Service Corporation, a well established Petrochemical Contractor, has immediate openings in Chemical Loading, Sample Running, Material Handling, Railroad Operations and Tank Car Inspecting. 

Job Responsibilities:Operate loading and unloading equipment, conveyors, hoists, and other specialized material handling equipment such as railroad tank car unloading equipment. Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks, coordinating activities with other workers to ensure constant product flow. Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers. Check conditions and weights of vessels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures. Operate Track Mobile to transport materials to and from transportation loading platforms. Inspect couplings, air hoses, journal boxes, and hand brakes to ensure that they are securely fastened and functioning properly. Transport chemical samples and/or equipment to various sectors of the plant facility.

On-the-Job Training:

Employees will obtain adequate training and safety awareness to ensure safe and efficient on the job performance.

Job Requirements:High School Diploma / GED Pass math & reading test SAP experience beneficial Must have valid Driver's License Drug-free and pass a drug screen, physical exam Obtain OSHA card and security passport and/or TWIC cardReliable transportation No felony convictions Available for overtime opportunities Capable of working a 12 hour rotating day & night shifts Able to work in all weather conditions Able to perform various physical components such as: constant climbing, walking, lifting and pushing during a 12 hour period. Several job-related employment references will be requested. Able to provide professional references.
