The Process Engineer will be responsible for the following:Participate in and/or lead teams in support of optimizing plant processes for quality, cost, and productivity. Study and implement modifications for unit-operations and related equipment (i.e. dryers, furnaces, reactors, filters) to improve yields and efficiencies. Identify, evaluate and make recommendations regarding new plant process technologies. Provide process engineering support to the plant to lead efforts associated with new product and process commercialization. Act as a liaison between the plant and our Product Development Team to review and implement scale-up and process modifications. Coordinate and lead plant trials associated with new products, new process, etc.

Minimum of BS in Chemical or Materials Science Engineering and at least 3 years related experience in a chemical process role/industry.  The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of related process/manufacturing experience in a batch chemical process environment.  The ideal candidate will also have prior experience in chemical plant process improvement and design, particularly with equipment such as filters, furnaces, flash tanks, evaporators, dryers and reactors. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to establish effective relationships quickly.  He or she should have experience in working as part of a team and a strong technical aptitude.  Candidate must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.  Candidate must display initiative and have a strong drive for results.
