Process Engineer with Controls Experience

The Mergis Group is seeking a process engineer for a large global healthcare company and leading manufacturer of medical devices and supplies, diagnostic imaging agents and pharmaceuticals.  The company employs more than 43,000 employees in 130 countries and posted revenue of more than $10 billion dollars in 2007.  The candidate will be responsible for the safety, rate, yield and quality of their processes.  The candidate will need to improve efficiencies, implement cost reductions, provide training to operators and troubleshoot problems. Requirements:  Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related discipline 2-5 years of engineering and chemical processing experience Strong knowledge of chemistry and engineering principles Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of cGMP requirements Excellent communication skills both oral and written Training in six sigma or lean manufacturing preferred Experience in electronic controls preferred Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
