Process Safety Management Coordinator - Chemical Product Supply Division
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has an immediate opening for a Process Safety Management Coordinator for its Chemical Product Supply Division.
The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with the PSM standard, Mechanical Integrity program, lead the division’s strategic PSM initiatives and ensure that a road map is clearly defined to assist in reaching annual operating safety plans.
The candidate will have a baccalaureate degree, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, must have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pro active safety systems, chemical plant or refinery experience in Process Safety Management with an emphasis in mechanical integrity and safety. The candidate must have working knowledge of OSHA PSM standard and EPA Risk Management Plan.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:Lead hazard reviews using HAZOP, whatif and checklist methodologies.Input for development and maintenance of mechanical integrity standards, procedures, best practices, inspection contracts and contractor selection.Knowledge of inspection/test procedures used to assess vessels, tanks, piping, and heat exchangersDevelop a robust CUI inspection program.Working knowledge of API, NFPA, OSHA, ASME, and ANSI standards.Understanding of ISA S-84, establish risk assessment procedures for Critical Process Safety Equipment. Facilitation and/or coordination of required, internal PSM/RMP audits and regulatory agency inspections and audits. Identification of PSM/RMP process improvement opportunities.Working knowledge of management of change/PSSR process.Knowledge in incident investigation, leadership of investigation teams, documentation and management of action items.P.E., API 510/570, API 653 certifications would be a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office software applicationsMust be lawfully authorized to work in the United States.
This position will be based in Texas (Houston or Beaumont), but will have responsibilities acrosss the Chemical Product Supply Division, (Beaumont, TX; Bayport, TX; Houston, TX; and Niagara Falls, NY)
