You also will build strong working relationships with vendors and other inter-company departments. The job encompasses: replenishing inventory on a daily basis, arranging bulk and package pick up/delivery, maintaining material cost and freight rate information, managing inventory, and serving as a source of information for Ashland sales representatives and customer service representatives.  This position is located in Dublin, OH. **This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience. ** High school diploma or equivalent ** 2 years purchasing, inventory control, customer service, and/or purchasing experience in a distribution/logistics environment  ** Good computer skills in (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes ** Strong math skills ** Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills ** Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment ** Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States Ashland has a history of attracting the best people and keeping them.
