Main Responsibilities:

 

· Ensure the safety of the manufacturing team, assuming role as key contact.

· Ensure the quality of products by supporting production teams (procedures and product specifications).

· Ensure the efficiency of operations by continuously improving productivity through process improvement, employee development & training, and leadership.

· Maintain exceptional plant and warehouse appearance.

· Ensure accurate transactions in JD Edwards.  Monitor and communicate key quality metrics for safety, quality, and efficiency to MFG team. 

 

Requirements:

 

· Must be able to work with little supervision and make decisions with sometimes-ambiguous information.

· Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. Chemical Engineering preferred.

· Prior supervisory experience in a team-based manufacturing environment.

· Good technical knowledge of batch process manufacturing.

· Good computer skills; knowledge of JDE, Excel, and Word preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
