Our client, a leading global niche manufacturer of precision equipment, is seeking a Project Coordinator for their Americas operations.

 

In this highly visible position, you will report directly to the Service Manager.  Your responsibilities will cover the following:

 Budget, project tracking and project management best practicesOverall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work effortsEstablish and implement project management processes and methods to help ensure that projects are timely and accurateResponsible for:assembling project plans and team assignmentsdirecting and monitoring daily work effortsidentifying needsquality controlescalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately Oversee compliance with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other related processes, as well as adhere to change control and problem management procedures

 

Your challenge, in this role:

 Manage a cross-functional mid-level project Deliver projects in a timely and efficient mannerAnalyze business unit technology needs, dissect problems and suggest solutionsCreate project plans and teamwork strategies; identify needs and direct daily work effortsTrack and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports Accurately identify risks and create strategies for risk preventionServe as liaison between IT and business units or vendorsNegotiate deliverables from initial requirements to final implementationUtilize work flow experience and PMP methodologies experienceImplement resource management practices and change management techniques

 

 Specific duties include:

 Ensure all product is ready to shipSet install scheduleOnce product ships, track shipment to storefrontEnsure all product is received and verify with store manager the date of installSet up schedule with third party providerVerify schedule and when they will be on siteConduct a manual inventory of all serial numbers of installed equipmentCreate spreadsheet of all equipment installed and at what locationCoordinate the shipment of old equipment back to third party vendor Conduct quality survey of all install sites



The right individual will possess: 

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience PMP or PMI certification or equivalent work experienceStrong working knowledge of PM methodologies in tools, resource management and  change managementPrevious experience managing multi-level project plans
