Quality Control Manager for Chemical Manufacturing Company

Matrix System is seeking a Quality Control Manager for its manufacturing facility.  The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing all testing of color production related batches that are processed through the laboratory.  The QC will also be responsible for approving, recording, and verifying changes made to the formula section, responsible for understanding the typical coating test methods used in the vehicle refinish industry.  Responsible for good housekeeping and ensuring tht the work areas are free of clutter.  May be responsible for providing appropriate information required for entering new raw materials into the formulating software.  Responsible for presenting a project timeline to the Operations Manager which details project goals, milestones and deadlines.  Maintain and support a positive and team oriented work environment.  Provide monthly reports to discuss QC operations and budgets.  Must be able to create and maintain the training matrix to ensure QC Technicians are properly trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks.  Must also communicate the requirements to advance your assigned projects to technician, who are assisting.  Must be able to trouble-shoot in-plant processing issues, field complaints, and lab projects.  Significant involvement in the ISO program by adding procedures and documents to the manual to ensure compliance.

Must have a Bachelors of Quality Management/Chemistry or related science degree with 5-7 years of working experience.
