Receptionist

Fuchs is constantly developing new products and services that are truly "leading edge". Fuchs Lubricants Co. is looking for a Receptionist at our corporate office in Harvey, IL.

The Receptionist is expected to have the switchboard open and operating promptly at 8:00 a.m. and throughout the day until 4:30 p.m. Relief switchboard coverage will be provided for a one-hour lunch, as well as short breaks during the day, as needed.

Responsibilities include:

à  Professionally administering all incoming calls

à  Ensuring phone calls are redirected accordingly

à  Greeting guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner

à  Providing callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information

à  Assisting in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies

à  Typing memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents

à  Performing a variety of clerical duties including mail distribution, preparing mailings, and other clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications:

à  Excellent phone etiquette

à  Excellent verbal communication skills

à  Punctual

à  Able to work with minimum supervision

à  Should be customer service driven

à  Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

à  Able to multi-task

à Professional appearance in a business casual environment

à  High school diploma or equivalent

à  Minimum 1 year customer service experience

à  Previous receptionist experience strongly desired
