Position Description:Under the general direction of the Security and Internal Controls Compliance Manager the incumbent as part of the Corporate Information Security and Internal Controls Assurance team will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and technical support in implementing and providing effective SAP Security configuration and management for the Rohm and Haas SAP business applications to support global initiatives.To provide assurance that SAP Security solutions are properly identified and that authorized use, access and disclosure of Rohm and Haas electronic information is in compliance with Rohm and Haas Corporate interests, as well as, applicable laws and regulations. To implement generally accepted security techniques that support global and strategic business initiatives, system integrity, confidentiality and availability by providing reliable, timely and cost effective technical SAP Security solutions, processes and procedures. Lastly, provide training and technical support to the IT SAP security operations and support personnel and to the site security administrators.Major Job Responsibilities:• Develop, deploy and enforce contemporary and clear SAP Security strategies for all aspects of the company's global Information Technology infrastructure and business applications environment.• Represent IT on business and corporate projects dealing with information security and application controls issues.• Provide for continuous, proactive improvement of SAP Security systems and processes within electronic Information Technology environment.• To work with all aspects of the business to build information security risk management into project lifecycles including outsourced and hosted solutions.• To ensure appropriate testing and validation of security requirements of high risk initiatives is undertaken.• To provide SAP Security consulting to our internal customers, to ensure that service designers and influencers make appropriate considerations around security, privacy, and application controls.• Provide direction and review the work of IT SAP security operations and support personnel.• Lead selection and deployment of best practices, standards, tools and technologies to implement policies / guidelines on all platforms to support key company initiatives.• Execute vulnerability assessments coupled with business information risk assessments to maintain strategic alignment with business initiatives.• Provide recommendations and assist in the implementation of changes towork methods and procedures to ensure strong and effective SAP Securitymeasures.• Keep abreast of public policies, regulations and industry practices in Information Security and advocate approaches which are in the best interest of all stakeholders of the corporation.• Willingness to travelMinimum Knowledge, Education, and Experience Requirements• Solid IT technical background (3 -5 years)• 5+ years of SAP Security and Basis design and configuration experience. Professional association with security audit and other related professional organizations (ISACA, ISSA, etc.)• 2-3 years experience writing policies, standards and/or procedures• A Bachelor ‘s or higher Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related.• 1-2 years experience with the SAP GRC SuiteCertifications:Preferred - CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)Skills Required• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and project management skills• Strategic orientation with ability to act tactically as required• Global perspective, multi-cultural understanding and approach• Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills• Sound understanding of process management principles• Strong negotiator/facilitator and consensus builder with results oriented commitment• Strong knowledge of the various legal, privacy and regulatory areas impacting our business• Demonstrated experience in executing, designing and implementing SAP security strategies and solutions• Sound understanding of Data Protection obligations and requirements• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization• Good communication and report writing skills• Knowledge across the following areas:o Information Security Risk Management Techniqueso General Information Technology and Information Securityo Risk Analysis & Risk Mitigationo IT & Technology Securityo SAP R/3 Security Configuration, Authorizations and Roleso Authentication & Access Control Technologieso Fraud preventionKey Internal/External Contacts: • External & Internal Auditors (meet as required to provide information/status concerning audit findings and corrective actions).• IT Leadership Team & IT Governance Team (meet as required to review SAP Security strategies and solutions to support key initiatives).• IT Community (meet as required to communicate the SAP Security strategy regarding the development and implementation of techniques, guidelines, procedures and processes for authorizations, profiles and roles).• Rohm and Haas Community (meet as required to communicate Internal Controls strategies and solutions and to provide end user support).
