The SHE Advisor will be responsible to develop appropriate Safety, Health and Environmental programs, policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal, state, local and Croda PLC requirements. Responsible for implementation & maintenance of Responsible Care® and ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 18001 programs. In addition, monitors, audits and reviews the employee safety, health and environmental programs to evaluate effectiveness and compliance.

 

The ideal candidate must possess 7-10 years in the Safety, Health & Environmental field, preferably in a chemical plant. Knowledge of local, state and federal SHE regulations. Experience with principles of Responsible Care® and ISO standards. Candidate must also have experience with incident investigation & root cause determination, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and air permitting. Candidate must also have excellent writing and communication skills.
