Sales Coordintaor

A specialty chemical company located in Oakbrook, IL is seeking a Sales Coordinator.  The incumbent will be responsible for managing accounts to sell high value products.  This individual will be required to use technical expertise and services to aid customers in maintaining competitive edge.

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for commercial and technical support of customers within the Edible Oils, Oleochemicals and Sponge business unit of Johnson Matthey. Commercial experience is recommended. The incumbent must also possess a solid understanding of technical fundamentals, sales and management skills, and computer literacy. The incumbent must be able to effectively articulate product advice to Sales Managers and customers. 

B.S. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.  The incumbent should also have a have a minimum of 2 years operations experience in chemical/refining industry.  Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and analyze customer plant data are required.  The ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly recommended.  This position will involve extensive travel within North and South America.
