Sales Representative

At Insight Services (www.testoil.com) we help large industrial process industries (think power plants, refineries, and steel mills) avoid unexpected equipment failure through analysis of their in-service lubricants.  In a nutshell, our customers take a 4-ounce sample of their oil (while the machine is running) and send it to our lab.  We then analyze the oil (quicker & more accurately than anyone on the planet) and issue them an Equipment Condition Status report.  We have been around for over 20 years and get a kick out of creating new ways to be remarkable to our customers. 

 

Based on our methods and customer service we’ve built a foundation for continued growth and prosperity and as a result, are looking to hire another Sales Representative.  We are looking for someone who is not only driven and effective at sales, but also fits our culture of innovation, passion, and honesty. Responsibilities:Increasing revenues by proactively acquiring new clients and growing existing clients.  Establishing strategic alliances with influential people in related industries.Providing technical support to customers.Performing oil analysis & lubrication audits at client sites and issuing written reports.Making recommendations internally relative to new products and services based on trends in the marketplace.

 

Requirements:5-7 years of professional, B2B sales experience, preferably in a related field (i.e., oil, lubricants) Comfortable selling to Maintenance Managers or Reliability Engineers at large process plantsTechnical aptitudeA proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding performance objectivesGood communication (written & oral) and presentation skillsAn ability to travel overnight at least 25% of the time
