Senior Accountant

Bulk liquid storage facility in Deer Park area has immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. This position will be responsible for daily accounting activities including:
-Preparation of monthly financial statements and provide support
documentation to senior management to substantiate statement results.
-Review general ledger entries for correctness of J/E's, accruals, fixed assets and payroll and other entries.
-Assist and coordinate activities associated with annual outside audit and be responsible for preliminary and final budgets.
-Assist in overall company Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and audits
-Responsible for determining financial adjustments due to tax code revisions
-Assist in administering accounting practices and policies

 

Candidates must possess a BS in Accounting with 3-5 years accounting experience.

Previous SOX implementation and compliance preferred.

Must have strong analytical and computer skills.

Experience with deferred taxes helpful. Excellent salary and benefits package.
