Our employees accomplish this by using their experience and expertise to tailor cost-competitive solutions and services precisely to the needs and requirements of their customers in Administration & Controlling, Technology Services, Communications, Enterprise Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Procurement, Tax and Treasury.ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of this role, as Senior Coordinator, is to provide application service and development support to internal and external customers, as a member of the Systems Technology Solutions Group within Bayer's Corporate and Business Services organization.The incumbent will:- Coordinate software application development and the development of vision and scope together with the customer;- Manage requirements and the controlling of the project execution as well as the testing, integration and deployment of the solution;- Work intensively together with the customer or business owner during the requirements gathering phase and support this process with excellent knowledge in business analysis;- Maintain the relationship to the customer or business owner during the project life-cycle and will review documents which are being developed during the software development life-cycle as well as releases – prototypes, user acceptance test releases and production releases;- Provide operational support for the applications which includes the analysis of problems with existing software applications and their computing environments;- Coordinate all off-shore development and the management of their activities in relation to the project including quality control, release management and user acceptance testing.QualificationsThe selected candidate will possess:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related degree plus 5 years experience in business analysis and project management;- Excellent knowledge of the software development life-cycle, especially requirements engineering, software architectures and project management;- Strong in business analysis and application of related methods (UML);- Experiences in the application of engineering and technology software solutions;- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills;- Proven customer service skills;- Strong in communication skills and collaborative team play;- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at different levels of the organization;Preferred Qualifications - Experience with software development languages and concepts, especially for the .NET framework, web applications, databases (Oracle, SQL server), middleware;- Industrial experience in Engineering, Chemical Industry and/or Manufacturing;- Accurate and strong project management skills.Bayer Benefits We offer a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefit programs.
