Position Description:Primary Function:Develop new and support existing enterprise application integrations using a variety of integration software tools.Major Job Responsibilities:Design application integration solutions based on business functional requirements.Develop new application integrations using one or more of the following tools:IBM WebSphere MQ v6.x and associated adapters and utilitiesIBM WebSphere Message Broker v6.xVignette Business Integration Studio and associated adaptersProvide 24x7 on-call support for the WebSphere MQ/Message Broker production environment every 3rd week.Document integrations by producing architectural diagrams and troubleshooting SOPs.Understand the impact of technology upgrades on the MQ environment and the integrations running there. Participate in these upgrades by performing impact analyses, testing message flows, and modifying message flows as required.Must be able to work cooperatively with other team members.Must be able to work on several integration requests simultaneously.Must have demonstrated ability to meet deliverable commitments.Follow best practices for managing source code and introducing changes into the integration environment. Work safely and comply with dept. requirements for safety meetings, ergonomic audits, and corporate requirements for legal compliance training.Minimum knowledge, education, experience required:3+ years experience developing message flows in the WebSphere Message Broker tool.3+ years application programming in a 3rd or 4th generation language (3GL, 4GL).1+ year experience developing integrations to SAP systems.Specific Skills required:Developing integrations with SAP R/3, HR modules using the MQ Link for SAP R/3 and the WebSphere Adapter for SAP Software.Developing integrations with the WebSphere Message Broker NEON formatter.Developing integrations with the WebSphere Message Broker SOAP nodes.Knowledge of SAP IDoc types and structuresBasic Unix administration (AIX preferred) experience.SQL programmingProgramming applications which utilize Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.Some Java programming.
