RustOleum is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at our facility in Hagerstown, Maryland.

 

The main functions of this job will be to manage the capital projects designed for improvement of safety, quality, environment requirements, and plant efficiencies.

 

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing specifications for capital projects and coordinating all activities with outside contractors and plant personnelProvide direction for improvement in process control capability, analyze, and improve operational performance and achieve cost improvements Manage capital projects including specification development, capital spending and arrangement of outside vendors, contractors and internal workforceAnalyze and improve material flow in milling, filling, and warehousingSupport local project engineering activities. Includes environmental reporting, security management, safety training and troubleshooting of quality issues

 

RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 10 years engineering experience requiredKnowledge of PHA requirements and implementation 7 years previous engineering experience in the Chemical or Process Industries Previous experience with environmental regulations desirableMust be able to demonstrate problem solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to multi task with responsibility for multiple projects Strong computer skills and knowledge of process automation and control
