Senior Petro-Chemical Process / Design Engineers

Growing company is hiring additional people to work on expansion and new plant facilities. Position is responsible for providing work direction to Process Engineers assigned to a project in various phases of development and/or engineering design and ensures that the goals of the project are being met.  Interfaces with company management, Technology Licensors and EPC Contractor to coordinate work efforts and determine the required work tasks.



Duties:
•  Plan and organize work of assigned personnel.
•  Perform as a task force or group leader in planning and directing company and contract employees on capital work projects.
•  Initiate and/or conduct complex assignments requiring modification of established guidelines and applying innovative solutions.
•  Work in terms of broad objectives, relative priorities and critical areas that impinge on work of other units.
•  Be responsible for verbal and written presentation of project conclusions and recommendations.
Requirements:
•  Bachelors' degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petrochemical Engineering.
•  10 or more years of experience in the design and operation of petrochemical plants or refineries - with at least five years of actual chemical plant or refinery workplace experience managing $30M+ capital projects.
•  Industrial process engineering experience with a refinery, chemical manufacturer, engineering firm, or Oil & Gas company.
•  Experience with commercial process simulation software (Hysys, Aspen, Pro-II, etc.)
•  Background with CAD software (AutoCAD, Smartplant, Visio)
•  Experience in refining units (hydrotreating, hydrocracking, low pressure and vacuum distillation) or petrochemical (gasification, ammonia, methanol, hydrogen). Experience with Fischer-Tropsch is a plus.
•  Travel 10-25%
