Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, you will contribute directly to the development of Qatar Petroleum’s operated oil and associated gas fields. Senior Process Engineers  (UK525473)The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for:  supporting the respective Section Heads in meeting the general business objectives as defined by the Manager of Oil and Gas Surface Development;  reviewing/evaluating development plans, de-bottlenecking study and enhancement of existing facilities performance related to Gas/Oil processing and other works that prospective business venture partners propose to QP; supporting the business case for future Joint Venture and Development Production Sharing Agreements; checking the technology content of the business proposals for novelty in design that might jeopardize the reliability of the commercial installation; assisting prospective partners in obtaining the necessary data and information to begin the preliminary scoping and feasibility studies that are needed to support the venture;  performing simulations of process plant, which could include LNG, offshore oil/gas production, onshore sour gas treating, gas export facilities, NGL recovery systems and other processing facilities as the need arises.  Degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 15 yrs experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas engineering with exposure to plant operating and design practices. Chartered Engineering recognition from the appropriate engineering council or body.  Senior Instrument Engineers  (UK525476)Responsible for all areas of work covered in Instrumentation and Control Engineering of JV and DPSA Projects. These functions include all field instrumentation, DCS, F&G detection system, emergency shutdown/pressure relief system, communication and metering system (Fiscal & Allocation metering).  Provide technical support to process group during feasibility studies of new projects.  Identify the synergies between existing and new projects to minimize cost of installation and maintenance of instrument and control facilities. Participate in the Pre-FEED, FEED & HAZOP studies to ensure that the facilities instrumentation design selected is technically sound, state of art and as per industry practice and standards. Review the Basis of Design (BOD), relevant engineering standards and equipment datasheet sheets prepared by FEED contractors/ Vendors.  Participates in Factory/Site Acceptance Tests of instrument, control and metering systems. Reviews existing drawings, Standards, Specifications, and recommends appropriate changes.
