Senior SharePoint Developer Seeking a qualified Sr. SharePoint Developer for a 6+/months (long-term) contract project for a Global Chemical company.  If you meet the qualifications below please submit your resume as soon as possible to be considered and submitted for this project. Candidate will have demonstrated solid development experience using the .NET Framework as well as solid web development experience using ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, CSS and will look to solve problems without always relying upon writing code.Requirements: • Development experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 • .NET 2.0/3.0 Framework developer skills: • ASP.net • C# • XML • Javascript & HTML • SQL 2000/2005 - including stored procedure development, UDF development, DTS package development & SISS • Experience using Visual Source Safe for code management • Experience using Visual Studio toolset • Bachelors degree or higherRequired Skills: Solid understanding of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 to include: • Overall architecture • WSS object model • Features and Feature Receivers • Event Receivers and Handlers • Web Part customization and development using C# • Packaging and deployment • Collaborative Application Markup Language (CAML) • Page Templates, Master Pages and other UI customization techniques (such as XSLT used in conjunction with out of the box web parts such as Data Form Web Part)Experience using additional capabilities provided by Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 to include: • Connecting to Line of Business Applications using the Business Data Catalog (BDC) with experience connecting to SAP preferred • Extended search capabilities • InfoPath and Forms Server • Excel Services • Experience using OO (Object Oriented) techniques • Experience in the "integrate" or "buy" vs. "build" approach, i.e. more time spent in design, re-engineering existing/proven code vs. creation from ground up. • Experience: 2+ years developing enterprise portal solutions 3+ years developing 3 tier enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies
