The Planning Manager is responsible for leadership of the scheduling team and the supply planning process. This person will work closely with the manufacturing operations managers to improve the scheduling processes in their area, identify and resolve capacity issues and to provide the data for the Supply Planning Reviews.

This person needs to drive service improvements and to work with their team to manage inventory. This person will be accountable to ensure that the plant resources are being effectively scheduled and are metrics are being met.This position must effectively interact with the commercial and manufacturing organizations to meet the customer requirements.

Required Skills:

BS Degree (engineering preferred)
5+ years Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience.
Green belt certification; cross functional experience and team skills. Strong leadership and influencing skills. Independent thinker; ability to lead across functions; data/fact driven decision maker; change agent with demonstrated customer focus.
