The Plastics Exchange, a dynamic and growing physicals commodities exchange located downtown Chicago, is looking for an energetic, intelligent and loyal individual who will work under our IT Manager as a Software Developer.

Salary starts at $45,000 and will be commensurate with experience.  You should have 2 years relevant experience.

Duties:

Develop, enhance, and support mission critical Internet based applications, queries, and stored procedures in an advanced Microsoft Environment. Work in concert with other developers and business users.  Technology used is ASP.net/C#, SQL Server 2005, XML.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Quickly learn business and manage end-user expectations and effectively manage time, resources, and deadlines

2. Develop and implement applications utilizing .NET technologies such as c#.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services, ADO.NET, XML, Microsoft IIS, and SQL Server. 

3. Participate various lifecycle stages including requirements gathering; specifications & design; application configuration; database design; programming; quality assurance; testing and implementation; and ongoing maintenance and support. 

4. Provides assistance in projecting hardware and software requirements. 

5. Complete other tasks as assigned.
