Supervisor of Accounts Payable

POSITION PURPOSE:

Direct supervision of the Norwalk Accounts Payable function.

Monitor and provide guidance to accounts payable staff in other U.S. locations.

Constantly review processes and policies, identify problems or opportuities and correct or improve.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise the Norwalk Accounts Payable department staff. Ensure that invoice data is entered correctly and timely, that Ariba T&E data is reviewed, approved and audited per corporate policy and that payments are executed smoothly and timely. Ensure cross training to the greatest extent posssible. Ensure month end accruals are set up correctly. Ensure compliance with all AP related policies, procedures and SOX requirements.

2. Actively seek opportunities to improve and streamline processes, develop new safeguards against error or possible fraud.

3. Monitor and assist all US accounts payable locations with on-going training. Provide guidance in policy and procedure.

4. Perform certain functions as necessary including monthly accounts payable reconcilation, weekly audit and correction of ERS (payment upon receipt) data, periodic downloads of electronic invoicing (Odyssey, Paymentech, Office Depot, etc), manual CAD check issuance, escheat, etc.

5. Respond timely to auditor requests.

6. Reporting and projects as required by management.
