Technical Service Engineer (Catalysts)

Job Opportunity:  Technical Service Engineer for major catalyst producer Our outstanding client company is one of the world's largest producers of petrochemical catalysts. We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Service Engineer. In this role, you will be the primary technical liaison with catalyst customers. This includes on-site technical support and assistance with catalyst selection, and providing support during turnarounds and start-ups. You will also provide technical support for catalyst usage and assist with troubleshooting plant issues that may affect catalyst performance. Primary responsibilities:  Estimate catalyst performance characteristics for customer-specific feedstocks and process conditions Organize and complete catalyst test runs Participate in reactor inspection & catalyst loading activities  Provide customer process troubleshooting and catalyst performance monitoring, and make recomendations to improve operations Assist and train customers in catalyst activation, usage, installation, and start-up activities Background requirements:    BS Chemical Engineering 3-15+ years of technical service engineering experience in catalysts industry, or 5+ years experience as Process Engineer in petrochemicals manufacturing plants Strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills Willingness to travel 30-40% within the Americas region If this describes you, please:  Click here to apply and e-mail your resume in confidence! All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
