The Technician I will work with a team of materials and corrosion specialists on engineering, failure analysis and applied research projects for client companies in the petroleum, petrochemical, transportation, and aerospace industries at a corrosion center of excellence and laboratory in Houston, Texas. More specifically: Conducting tests on materials and components involving corrosive environments, temperature, pressure and/or mechanical loading Providing engineer with results of testing Design and assembly of test apparatus H. S. Diploma or equivalent Associate Degree or 2 yrs college credits in science, chemistry, engineering or 2 year experience in lieu of education.2+ years relevant work experience.
