Territory Manager (Midwest) - Engineered Polymer Products

 

As a leading manufacturer of Polymer Additives, Gelcoat, and Color Dispersions, Ferro Corporation seeks a Territory Manager with experience selling plastic additives, filled resins, and colorants.  Responsibility includes multiple key accounts in the Mid-West region.

 

Major responsibilities include:

 

§ Sell, promote, and service the complete product lines of Ferro Corporation’s Polymer Specialty Materials.

§ Develop and implement selling plans for new accounts and new products.

§ Coordinate, report, and manage activities with technical, customer service, and demand planning to support accounts.

§ Collect and communicate account and industry information through call reports, monthly demand forecasts, and technical service requests.

§ Work independently from home based office in assigned region.  Location could include Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky.

 

Requirements for the position include:

 

§ B.S. degree in business or science; MBA a plus

§ Five years technical and/or sales experience in the plastics industry

§ Computer skills

§ Knowledge of the polymer additives and/or resin markets

§ Ability to work independent of daily supervision

§ 40% overnight and extended travel as required to sell and service a geographically broad customer base

§ Ability and license to operate a passenger motor vehicle
