Transportation & Logistics Analyst
ChemLogix, LLC is seeking a Transportation & Logistics Analyst.
ChemLogix, LLC is a leading supplier of logistic services to the chemical and related industries. As an independent provider of customized logistics solutions that support process improvements, ChemLogix drives economic value and cost reduction initiatives through supply chain and logistics optimization.
Analyst Responsibilities:Provide clients and internal businesses reports and key performance metrics pertaining to logistics and transportation costs and transportation service provider performance. Design, build and maintain reporting mechanisms, including KPI (Key Performance Indicators), Dashboards, and standard reports.Perform “deep-dive” analysis and assessment of historical and on-going processes and performance trends in order to determine root cause and effect of business activities and related results.Support the implementation and ongoing support of ChemLogix Technologies clients by compiling, organizing and formatting very large and often complex sets of logistics and transportation data.Build and manage Microsoft Excel and Access data-bases to support internal and external client activities.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in operations research, operations management or business logistics.One to two years of transportation and/or logistics experience, or significant intern experience during school.Very strong interest in and affinity for data management and analysis.Strong course work or work experience using data analysis and presentation to solve business problems.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal colleagues.
The job is located in our Blue Bell, PA office. Blue Bell is about 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
