Accountant The primary responsibilities of the Accountant are to provide assistance with both general ledger and bank account reconciliations. Provide assistance with SAP master data maintenance. Take on special projects related to these areas and have oversight responsibility in manager's absence Responsibilities: Perform month end and year end financial closing activities. Initiate electronic funds transfers and communicate cash requirements to Corporate. Monitor incoming fax server and attach SAP journal entry document images. Complete monthly account analysis for multiple Coalitions using outlined procedures and forms for accounts including but not limited to payroll benefits, payroll tax withholding, payroll deduction, and cash accounts. Post related journal entries. Communicate reconciliations and review information with Coalition Finance department personnel on a monthly basis to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain SAP master data. Perform SAP's forecasting and planning copy functions as requested by Coalition Finance department personnel. Unclaimed property due diligence and reporting responsibilities. Property tax administration which includes but is not limited to fixed asset review, use of PTMS to create renditions, investigation of issues relating to returns, assessments, appeals and payments of both real and personal property.
