Jaysix USA, Inc. is a menswear fashion importer and distributor currently undergoing rapid growth. Jaysix USA, Inc. distributes four separate men’s clothing brands, VLuxe, James Tattersall, Vie Denim, and Daniel DeFasson. These brands include shirts, jeans, and outerwear and are sold to a large and varied customer base, including small boutiques and larger chain retailers. All goods are manufactured abroad and sold in the U.S.

 

Jaysix is seeking an energetic and committed individual to join the Finance Department as an Accounts Specialist. The main duties of this position include:

  Daily hand-on involvement of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports, including but not limited to internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits and annual budgets.Manage day to day banking relationships.Perform accounts payable maintenance/processing for payment. Follow up on requests for payment and perform accounts receivable billings and reconciliation. Process accounts payable (data entry, verification, reconciling, updating); file related reports, supporting documentation, check copies, Maintain accounts receivable and payable and all related files, both electronically and on paper.   Other accounting asks as required.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:  

 Must be a fast learner. Must have advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, and general computer skills. Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. High level of organization and attention to detail. Proven ability to work well both individually as well as a member of a team. College degree required, previous experience desired.

 

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include 50% employer-paid healthcare, 2 weeks annual vacation.
