Assistant Fashion Designer

 

Kolcraft Enterprises, a leader in the juvenile products industry has an immediate opening for an Assistant Fashion Designer.  This entry level position requires a dedicated candidate willing to learn and grow with the company. Ideal candidate will be responsible for completing spec sheets, presentation trend boards, preparing tech packs, fit testing, generate new CAD drawings, assist in developing seasonal trends, themes, concepts, color, material, fabric and product form and function,  provide overall support to the Fashion department; other duties may be assigned. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision, have great problem solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

 

Candidate must possess the following:College degree in Fashion Design or similarSome professional Fashion Design experience required including internships Execute accurate interpretation of design conceptsKnowledge of pattern making and sewingKnowledge of computer programs like MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
