Business Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Understand and apply ERP system functionality to support business needs Maintain the integrity of ERP data including the creation and maintenance of Item Master / Item Branch records, BOM’s, Routings, Receipt Routings, Cross-References, Document Types, Activity Rules, etc. Review and recommend ERP access and Task View changes Create program versions and Scheduler requests Help users define design specifications by identifying data elements, formulas, output format, versions, task views, and access for custom programming Ensure Change Management procedures are followed across all disciplines Understand integration across business and systems Resolve process and system problems Map business processes Document business solutions and work instructions Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes during development and quality assurance testing Develop new and alternative business processes (Lean)  Other duties as assigned

 

Required Background & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related degree/experienceExperience working with an ERP software package Finance/Accounting systems backgroundBusiness Analysis experienceDemonstrated ability to document - process flows and improvement, work instructions, requirements gathering, business specifications, test plans, and the like is strongly desired, especially in in a manufacturing or order fulfillment environment. Project Management experience a plusExperience working for a manufacturer a plusSkilled with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio and relational databases. Excellent commumication skills both verbal and written. Programming skills is helpful.
