Corporate Controller for a leading designer, manufacturer, and Marketer of quality active wear

Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience is essential

 

Responsible for the oversight and direction of the accounting function to include budget, cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting.

 

Essential Functions ( include but are not limited to)Direct preparation of internal accounting and management reportsDirect preparation consolidation and analyses of annual financial reports, meeting with external auditors to resolve issues relating to internal controls and GAAPPrepare accurate budget and forecasts and monitor compliance and progress towards those plansEstablish, implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures required to meet minimum corporate accounting policies and safeguard the company's assetsMonth end closingsGeneral Ledger managementMonthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, audit schedules and audit documentation for reviewDomestic and International travel is required

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting and CPA And or MBA required

15 years of progressively responsible accounting experience with at least 10 years as a Corporate Controller in a $150 million plus business

Apparel or textile industry experience preferred

Requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a timely basis
