...be part of a tradition where going to work inspires you to provide joy, beauty and warmth to everyday home and family life.Country Curtains is a family and employee owned multi-channel company started in 1956; offering high quality ready made curtains, accessories and accent pieces for the home.  In the tradition of our founders, Jane and Jack Fitzpatrick, our employees are dedicated to the meeting the highest standards of customer service in all of our customer relationships.  Currently, our Marketing Department is seeking talented and passionate candidates for the position of Direct Marketing Manager.  Qualified candidates should have proven success in their ability to to develop and support marketing strategies through analysis and translate into revenue growth.  This position requires someone who is creative, detail oriented and a team player. Job Summary~Qualified candidates will manage the development, coordination, maintenance and analysis of direct mail plans and programs optimizing the sales and profitability of Country Curtains.Job Responsibilities~ Manage the circulation planning for all Country Curtains mailings, to include supervising circulation specialist, develop annual plans for annual budget process and develop detailed plans for each mailing. Improve the profitability of each Country Curtains mailings via improved segmentation, data modeling and the use of new information from i-Centrix. Develop and test optimum mailing strategies for various segments of Country Curtains house file, especially prospect conversion and converting one time buyers to multi-buyers.  Provide regular management level reporting for mailing results and house file status. Manage the i-Centrix relationship and use the partnership and resources to assist as backup for all circulation execution functions.  Engage their data creative resources to continually test ways of improving mailing efficiency and productivity.  Develop additional reporting to provide deeper cutsomer and business insight.  Establish targets for new customer counts and partner with the Web and Advertising depts. to develop annual plans to meet targets. Test and develop new contact strategies specifically designed for retail store and inernet buyers. Participate with the Retail, Web, Creative and Advertising departments to achieve greater integration of all company marketing activity. Create the Company Sales Forecast in partnership with the CFO and General Manager of Retail, providing sales projection information that drives the development of all departmental operating budgets. In partnership with the Customer Service Data Group and Accounting, coordinates the reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly demand, and reporting variances from the original forecast on a regular basis. Develop analyses from the house file to provide direction for contact strategy, special product offerings and new marketing opportunities. Use appropriate resources and develop appropriate QC to insure house file data accuracy. Use internal and external MIS resources to further develop the use of systems and data within the Catalog Marketing organization to improve reporting and efficiency. Develop and manage the Catalog Budget, including input from the Creative Group, and develop detailed understanding of production and postal efficiencies to control rising catalog costs. Participate and provide data anaylsis support to bid the Country Curtains Catalogue Printing requirements when the current contract reaches expiration.
