Director of Sales & Marketing, (Team Sports Apparel)

GAME Sportswear, LTD. has been a leading manufacturer to the Sportswear and Work Wear industry for over 30 years. Located in Yorktown, NY, GAME is split into two basic product lines – Sportswear (varsity jackets, fleece, warm-up suits, performance shirts, outerwear, bags, etc.) and Work Wear (work shirts, hi-visibility, rugged outerwear, corporate wear). The company sells via dealers and distributors (sporting goods shops, embroiderers/screen printers and promotional products distributors).  Its sales force consists of 13 rep groups and a total of 32 independent reps throughout the United States. Outside sales are supported by an inside Customer Service/Telesales Dept. The company has experienced consistent and significant growth throughout its history, especially in the last several years and now employs over 100 employees, in its Yorktown Heights headquarters and Port Chester facilities, working in 80,000 sq ft of office, warehouse and factory space.

The company is looking to hire a Director of Sales & Marketing who will provide leadership and management oversight of all aspects of Strategic Sales and Corporate Marketing to enable the delivery and development of the highest quality products and solutions for its customers.  You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic sales programs that realize the necessary revenues and growth to contribute to financial success. You will also be responsible for all aspects of Corporate Marketing Strategy by fostering a market driven environment and ensuring that the company brands are positioned to grow market share.

Experience Requirements:

 BA/BS required. Ideally, the applicant will have a post graduate degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related business discipline. 7 years plus experience in a senior role in Sales & Marketing within the apparel industry. Demonstrated experience in developing marketing strategy that drives corporate objectives. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customer focused sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability. Proven experience in developing and deploying Customer Services systems and procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects on-time.
