CITY/STATE: Las Vegas, NVPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Human ResourcesEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's DegreeSALARY: 65,000.00 - 78,000.00 USD /yearPlus comprehenisve benefits and bonus packageREFERENCE CODE: LV155MM Employee Relations Manager Local distribution center for a worldwide company seeking an Employee Relations Manager!Position will report to the Human Resources Manager, and have 3-10 direct and indirect reports.  Seeking an energetic employee who can handle a large scale facility, dealing with union and non-union employees.  Will manage the employee relations functions in order to ensure effective associate/labor relations.  Will oversee the administration functions of the HR area, to include payroll, file administration, and benefits.  Will ensure that the Risk Management areas and unemployment are at acceptable levels.  Coordinates with managers and supervisors as well as staff comply with all guidelines.  Will coach and mentor staff and management as appropriate regarding employee relations issues.Must be experienced in a union environment.Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience, with 3-5 years in Labor Relations as well as 1-3 years in a Generalist role.  Must hold a bachelor's degree, or equivalent job experience.  Seeking candidates who have excellent conflict resolution skills, managerial skills, as well as an superb grasp of all state and federal laws (ie, ADA, FMLA).  Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
