Experienced Upholsterer

Furniture Werks is among the leading custom upholstery, furniture refinishing and repair shops in the Chicagoland area. We are located in Northwest Indiana, about 50 minutes from downtown Chicago. Our upholstery department consists of two full-time upholsterers, one full-time sewer, part-time tear down help and a truck crew.


We are in need of an aggressive upholsterer with experience in designer quality upholstery and antique restoration, or someone with less experience that is willing to learn and take direction. The qualified individual should have a good work ethic, dependable transportation, a great attitude and do custom high quality work with little supervision. We are a tight knit group and need someone to fit in as a team player.


Wages are open for discussion and relocation assistance is available. Our local community is quiet, with pleasant living conditions. Get a Chicago wage without the Chicago cost of living!


Take I-94 to either Indiana Highway 49 at Chesterton or US Highway 421 at Michigan City north to US Highway 20. We are halfway between Chesterton and Michigan City on Route 20. Please call for more detailed instructions.
