General Manager

A fast growing, stable business services firm invites experienced managers to apply for a General Manager position. Located in Chicago, the primary responsibility of this job is to acquire and maintain lasting customer relationships through world-class service quality. Specific duties include managing an outside sales force, delivery routes, warehouse, and inventory; meeting financial management objectives, planning operations and staffing; insuring compliance with processes and procedures; keeping the branch organized and operating efficiently; and building a team that consistently delivers world-class customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Five or more years of management experience in the uniform and textile rental industry

• Five or more years experience in financial management (collections and budget)

• Significant sales or sales management experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

• Proven track record for delivering outstanding customer service

• Proficient in the use of business software such as MS Word, Power Point and Excel

• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify causes, and implement lasting solutions

• Four-year college degree

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary is $70,000 to $75,000 per year plus bonus. Travel expenses are covered with a car allowance and a gas card. Benefits are very competitive and include a 401k retirement plan with profit sharing contribution, health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, paid vacations and flex spending accounts.
