IMPORT & EXPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Experienced Import & Export Representative needed for Massachusetts Manufacturer.  This person will be responsible for the preparation of all import & export documents in compliance with customs regulations and company procedures in order to move goods smoothly through entry and export.

Duties & Responsibilities:Direct point of contact between internal / external customers & suppliersResponsible for international order fulfillment functions and systemsorder processingcontainerizationexport documentationproduct returnspricing matrixesCustomer credit and debt administrationLetter of credit administrationWork with freight forwarders for all Import/Export documentsPrimary point of contact for all international agentsCoordinate with credit dept. regarding payment for international shippingGeneral office duties

 Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years experience in a like positionKnowledge of INCO termsUnderstanding of Letters of CreditKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsGoal oriented and self-motivatedOrganized with a strong attention to detailB.S. Degree in a business discipline preferred
