Licensing Manager/Contracts Administrator

Locally based fashion apparel company has an immediate need for a LicensingManager/Contracts Administrator. 

 

Duties include butare not limited to: Managing all pending, new and existing licenses to insure contract and financial goals are being met. Revising existing licensing agreements utilizing in-house counsel for additional revisions and managing the administration and compliance set forth in said contracts. Handling responsibilities revolving around trademarks, patents, and copyrights as well as licensing of the Companies intellectual property. Working with licensees to ensure compliance with licensing agreements, etc. Investigating and resolving any potential conflicts. Structuring, negotiating and drafting license agreements with new licensees using established corporate guidelines and template. Providing regular detailed reports on all royalty activities to President Other relative duties as necessary.

 

The majority of work will be performed in afast paced, project oriented environment where the ability to workindependently with an emphasis on being able to reach target deliverableswithout direct supervision is key. 

Duties and responsibilities are subject tochange per business necessity.  Consequently,a new Job Description may be developed to reflect any changes in duties.

 

Qualifications:

-4+ year degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred

-The candidate must be proficient with MS Office products

-Abilityto learn and adapt in a fast paced environment.

-Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.

-Acuteattention to detail and organizational skills.

-Commitmentto excellence and high standards.
