Maintenance Manager

Hobbs Bonded Fibers is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our plant located in Waco.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing. 

 

As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for maintenance personnel, scheduling, shutdowns, repair, and replacement of all plant machinery.  The Maintenance Manager will utilize proper skilled techniques to assure the safe, efficient operation of all plant machinery and document all work performed.  You must assure compliance with all company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the plant.  You will perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures; take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions.  The successful applicant will work with the production personnel to schedule preventive and break-down maintenance.  You will be responsible for 15 direct reports, scheduling working hours to cover 7-day operations.  This is a hands-on management role, which will require you to bend, twist, reach, pull, push, and routinely lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.  You will be expected to meet operating and financial goals and customer needs.


Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervision/management experience.  Must be comfortable in using Microsoft Outlook and Office applications; Possess a knowledge of Inverter drives, Controllers, AC and DC power supplies, mechanical and electrical engineering; Able to read electrical wiring diagrams, control logic, and mechanical drawings.  Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude; basic knowledge of required codes; ability to plan ahead and adhere to a proper schedule; ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
