Oracle Technical Analyst/Developer

GEAR For Sports, a leader in the garment industry, is looking for an Oracle Developer or Technical Analyst/Developer. This position will have the responsibility for enhancing, maintaining and supporting GEAR for Sports Oracle Supply Chain Modules including, Purchasing, MRP and Shipping.  Take advantage of this opportunity to become part of a highly talented team of professionals working with and developing unique extensions to Oracle eBusiness applications.  Build and manage systems running on state of the art IBM RS/6000 Servers, top of the line networks and leading edge middle tier.  Work in an environment where personal and professional growth is emphasized and innovation and hardwork are recognized and rewarded.

This developer will be working with analysts and users to design applications that best meet user requirements.  Will interpret high level Business Designs.  Create and maintain Oracle Forms, Reports, Procedures and Packages to enhance Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite functionality. Will conduct thorough unit testing of work product.  Will Work with Oracle Support to resolve Oracle Application issues.  This position requires a high level of interaction with users and other IS and IT department members.  The IS department is focused on teamwork and a positive approach to all tasks.  It provides a dynamic work environment that is customer focused and results oriented.

Requirements include:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS or related field

  Three plus years software development experience with oracle

development tools including Oracle Forms, Oracle reports and PL/SQL

Two years development experience in an Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite environment.

Excellent communication skills

Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Support and MRP experience is a plus.

Manufacturing Environment experience is a plus.
